Open letter: Implementation of a vaccine passport would be discriminatory

'Under my personal Charter Rights and Freedoms, and medical sovereignty, I've made the personal decision not to receive the COVID vaccine,' says reader

To MPP Vic Fedeli:

I'm writing to you today to voice my absolute opposition to any implementation of a vaccine passport at the local, provincial or national level.

I'm a lifelong, documented allergic patient with a history of lowered/problematic immunity, as are some of my immediate family. We have managed the risks accordingly by following recommended health protocols.

Under my personal Charter Rights and Freedoms, and medical sovereignty, I've made the personal decision not to receive the COVID vaccine. There is now clear precedent and evidence that allergic reactions have occurred in other allergic/autoimmune compromised patients.

I do not wish to expose myself to further health complications or risks by taking what is fundamentally an experimental vaccine with barely a year or two of documented research, and proven complications in certain segments of the medical population, including my own.
